Welcome to Quest Tours
If you came to this page whilst searching for the Quest Tours website, www.questbelizetours.com, then please continue reading as the Quest Tours website is still currently under construction. Quest Tours is owned and operated by Splash Belize, as a seperate licensed Belizean tour operator, in Placencia Belize. We created this page to give you a general overview of Quest Tours, and the activities you can enjoy with them whilst in your vacation in Belize.
As local residents and Placencia community stakeholders, Splash Belize owners Patty Ramirez and Ralph Capeling wanted to provide their guests with land based tours when not scuba diving, and educate them about the culture, oportunities for adventure, local fauna and flora, and the ecosystems around Belize. The idea of Quest Tours was conceived as the land based tours and day trips offered by Splash Belize continued to grow and demand for additional tours both near and far was requested, due to the high level of customer service and knowledgable guides provided by Patty and Ralph.

Placencia in Southern Belize is an excellent base from which to enjoy the beauty of Belize both in the water and on the land. You can leave the beautiful beaches of Placencia to search for adventure with Quest tours in the rain forest, on the rivers, in the limestone caves, hike in the mountains, follow the trails in the jaguar preserve and swim under a waterfall, visit Maya ruins, river tube, and zip line. All can be offered in day trips.
Twenty five percent of Belize is protected by reserves and parks and the majority of these are in the south half of Belize. Most of the Maya ruins are also in the southern half of Belize and accessible by road from Placencia.
In addition to the popular day tours around Placencia, many of our guests like to explore the high country in Western Belize around Cayo near the border with Guatemala. While the southern Mayan ruins are appealing for their intimacy, Caracol and Xunantunich are more spectacular. Guests rave about their vist to Actun Tunichil Mucknal Cave (ATM Cave) where remains of Mayan artifacts provide a graphic understanding of their ancient rituals. One very popular way of exploring Belize is to spend split time between Placencia and Cayo.
In addition to the tours described in our website there are many additional attractions in this country known as Nature's Best Kept Secret. If you have an interest, just ask! Quest Tours can help you design your own adventure.
