Covid-19 Policies

We are happy to see that you are considering travel to Belize and to understand our covid-19 policies. All of our staff and crew are fully vaccinated. We require all of our guests over the age of 12 to be fully vaccinated (or present a recent covid-19 test result). Our hygiene and health safety protocols are designed to ensure your wellbeing and the wellbeing of our employees. Splash has been awarded the Gold Standard Tour Operator Certificate by the Belize Tourism Board in recognition of these covid-19 policies.  At Splash, we are all in about doing what we need to do to keep our crews and guests safe.

Hygiene and Cleanliness

We disinfect our dive center daily, and high touch areas several times each day.

Crews disinfect dive and snorkel equipment after every dive and snorkel tour.

Drivers disinfect vans before each use.

Boat captains disinfect boats daily and high touch areas more often.

Wellbeing Protocols

Guests and employees are subject to temperature checks before entering the dive center or vans.

Guests and employees must use hand sanitizer when entering the dive center, vans, or boats.

Social distancing of 6 feet/3 meters is required at all times (except between family members).

Masks must be worn at all times except when eating and drinking or when you have a regulator or snorkel in your mouth.

Suspected Covid-19 Cases

In the event of a guest showing any covid-19 symptoms we will immediately implement our covid-19 response plan in co-operation with Belize health authorities.  

Entering Belize

Bookings

To provide flexibility with the uncertainty related to covid-19 we will refund all deposits for tours if you give at least 24 hours’ notice.
