Splash Belize Dive Facility & Placencia Belize
Splash Dive Center is located in the small picturesque postcard village of Placencia in Southern Belize. Placencia is known as the ‘caye’ (Small Island) you can walk to as it is on a peninsula and has the best beaches in Belize.
Our very welcoming dive center is located at a new marina just north of the village. If we didn't pick you up at your hotel or at our sales office in the village, you will still find us easily with the big scuba tanks sign on the main road into the village.
Come in and relax in our reception area or on the veranda by the dock – all great spots for signing up for a dive trip or a PADI course, briefings/debriefings, logging dives or socializing over complementary juice and cookies after coming back from your dive. Check out our fully equipped inviting scuba store – the most complete one in Belize. After we rinse your scuba gear, we can store it every night for the duration of your Belize vacation. Our well-appointed and very comfortable classroom is ready for any diver continuing education or new open water diver training.
Our classroom and facilities are comfortable and spacious and we offer personalized scuba instruction, enjoy knowing our clients, divers and snorkelers, and catering to their specific interests and needs. We like our clients to come as customers and leave as friends!
Our retail area has dive cameras, dive computers, masks, snorkels, fins, fish ID slates, BCDs, regulators, miscellaneous accessories, and basic scuba necessities such as mask straps and snorkel keepers, sun screen and defog, etc.
Splash Dive Center has one of the best stocked and well maintained sets of equipment and scuba tanks in the region. We have lots of quality rental equipment and with a full service technician on staff it is always in good condition. Our compressor provides high quality breathing air that is analyzed for CGA grade E standards every quarter. We have 5 dive boats that are comfortable, well maintained, with VHF radios, first aid kit, emergency O2 on board, life jackets, and a licensed crew.
While our dive center is just north of the village, our booking office is a short walk from anywhere in the village, and conveniently located in the heart of Placencia village, close to cafes, and restaurants. We will pick you up at our booking office or at your hotel or resort to take you to our dive center from where our boats leave for scuba diving and snorkeling trips to the Belize barrier reef, the whale shark zone at Gladden Spit, the atolls and the Blue Hole.
For our guests who choose to stay in one of the luxury resorts, apartment or villas located outside of Placencia village, on the beaches or ocean front, our friendly professional staff at Splash can arrange transportation to/from your accommodation.
